Papanui School’s new library was completed in 2006 and is notable for its designated activity and learning spaces; Read, Research, Listen and Learn. Read is a recreational reading space where students can relax and read in natural light and on comfortable bean bags (double stitched industrial canvas to prevent bursting!). Note also the kowhaiwhai trim that runs around the library walls.
