Teacher workshop: The time machine

Author Melinda Szymanik will demonstrate some fun in-class writing exercises based on her books, that will get your students excited about reading and writing.

  • For primary students she'll be using The house that went to sea and While you are sleeping: story writing and poetry
  • For intermediate and secondary students she will use A Winter's Day in 1939 and Jack the Viking: Bringing history alive and putting us 'in the moment' .

    Cost:  Earlybird option $45 per workshop per person, payment by 1 March, and after 1 March $50 per workshop per person, includes GST
    Only on Friday 28th : $27.50 for each session or $50 for both

    Parking behind building or at Wilson’s Parking behind National Library building.
    Morning and afternoon tea provided. Please bring your own lunch, paper and pens.
