Description

By the 1980s the need and importance of conservation was recognised as being an essential component to maintaining and promoting our national identity. This conservation week poster and calendar celebrated the preservation of our natural heritage, in this case the plants within the context of the city, ‘Reflect your concern. Plant a tree.’ The message reads.

Conservation week is not only a celebration of our indigenous flora and fauna, but a chance for all New Zealanders to take part in conservation events across their community. More conservation posters can be found on the Conservation Blog.
