Do you remember the days before the Internet? It was a simpler time when we all had to actually remember song lyrics and the only cat videos we saw were our own.
I will be honest, there are times I long for those days the way I long for real letters instead of FB messages (even emails are starting to feel old-fashioned).
But then I come across something smart, creative, funny, and inspirational and my faith in the Interwebs is restored.
At least for now :)

Oh, oh, oh, you’ve got to see this wonderful post, Picturing books by Irene Gallo which I heard about in a tweet from Joyce Valenza.
Irene is the Art Director of Tor Books and when sent an email with a wonderful painting of a reader, it got her thinking, what other paintings feature books…

Hope you all had wonderful summers with lots of time to be with friends and family and plenty of time to do what you love. For many of us this means time to read (naturally!) so please share your favourite titles in the comments :)
