If you are like me this app passed you by when it was released last December by Te Wananga of Raukawa. It can be downloaded free from iTunes to be used on iphones and ipads .
According to the Wananga it uses all modes of learning styles; visual, aural, tactile and kinaesthetic to help your learn mōteatea. At the moment there are four mōteatea loaded on the application but they hope to load more soon. It was designed by Kiwa Media, the same company that produces Q books in te reo Māori.
You could put a link to this preview http://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/ewai/id477051733?mt=8
in your library catalogue record alongside the mōteatea books that hold these mōteatea as well as put a sticker on the cover alerting teacher and students to the existence of this app :))
