Just wanted to show you the new shelving book display now sitting above our staff work room photocopier - all thanks to ideas from the Inspiring Readers course. At this stage I have only been displaying staff PL resources. Within days of putting it up, 3 staff who have never used the PL resources housed in my office, had borrowed books from it. This is despite previous notices going out informing them of their availability.
To make it as user friendly as possible, I also made up little notes where staff could write their details and book title and leave them in my pigeon hole (just metres from the shelves), so they don't have to trek over to the library.
