‘I Know Someone with a Hearing Impairment’ is part of the ‘Understanding Health Issues’ series. The book introduces readers to some of the issues surrounding hearing disabilities. Topics include anatomical description, hearing aids and implants, lip reading and sign language as well as living with hearing impairments at school and home.
