How to Improve at Drawing by Sue McMillan

Here’s an excellent range of drawing enhancing skills and tips

Cat drawingOne in an excellent series of ‘how to improve at…..” skills and tips-based books. History, equipment, techniques, appealing examples are all provided to encourage and inspire drawing practice and works by several famous drawing artists are included. It’s an easily followed book that allows the reader to complete a drawing from a very simple starting point to completing a most impressive final image.

And it works. Even this reviewer was able to produce a reasonable image of a cat by following the techniques exemplified!

It’s a title that provides worthwhile assistance in an unchallenging manner to encourage readers to give it a go. The results may surprise. Recommended.
